Life in a rainbow
For months now I’ve been taking time organizing my home to better support our business adventures.
I’m thankful for the stimulus checks as they have allowed me to build inventory and supplies, as well as purchase storage solutions.
I hate working in an unorganized mess. So before I begin creating in full storm, I’ve been prepping and planning.
The most time consuming for me has been pouring over pattern after pattern, website after website, then printing and taping each pattern that I intend to use frequently.
The nice thing about it though, is that the patterns are almost all done and when I move into production I won’t have to spend time looking up patterns.
I print every size, tape it front and back and store on hangers.
I have just a few patterns to go then production can begin !!
The above is a photo of stimulus number 1. I feel so blessed that I was able to purchase these. Custom fabric isn’t cheap, but having them means that I can create one of a kind product that is not an everyday find. There is one more shelf of them not shown.
My fabric stash is my art palette and I have a palette that I dreamt about for years and years. I couldn’t have done it without the stimulus, but now I really cannot think of a single thing that I need other than display racks, etc. I am well aware that I am very blessed for having this inventory and I am super excited to begin, but am not rushing into things. Taking my time to decide exact product to carry and prep the patterns is worth the extra time.
Would you like to take a tour of our rainbow world?
So as you can see, we have PLENTY of supplies to keep us busy for the next year. This IS the fabric and craft stash of my dreams.
I have to print a few more hoodie patterns, some dog coat patterns, and then all is done and production begins.
